Palace Madrid
In 1912, the Palace opened only two years after the Hotel Ritz on the other side of the squre had opened its doors. The Palace was always the more democratic hotel, while the Ritz was reserved for Royals and Noblemen. This has changed, of course, and today the newly renovated Palace is one of the hospitality pearls of the Spanish capital. Remarkable and a must to see: the inner courtyard lobby.
The hotel provides the public with little information about its history. Our team researches the hotel's past, from the very beginning, verifying its exact opening date and providing an overview of its history up to the present day.?If you have any useful information and would like to share it, please send it to archives@famoushotels.org.?
