Metropole Monte-Carlo
A classic Belle Epoque building, opened in 1886 by the Monte Carlo Hotel Company Ltd. A stone's throw away from the buzz of the Casino, the Metropole has captured the atmosphere of the Principality in its classic yet contemporary design, where old-world glamour meets modern amenities.
Today you can enjoy a break at this deluxe hotel in Monte Carlo, where you can relax, take in the sights and spend time unwinding at the hotel's spa.
In 1886 the Monte Carlo Hotel Company Ltd. built the Hotel Metropole on a site that had previously belonged to Pope Leo XIII. Very soon the most demanding international clientele was won over by the unostentatious luxury of this quiet hotel built at the height of the Belle Epoque.
The hotel has seen sad days, was temporarily closed and reopend. In 2004, the hotel was refurbished to keep it in tune with ist time. But its spirit emerged intact and was styled by the celebrated interior designer Jacques Garcia who has created a unique exclusive style.
