Completed in 1866 it was ready to welcome its first gueats. But nobody came. The owner opend the house for the public to have a look. Free of charge, of course. That worked. The first bookings came in 1876. No problems of that kind ever since. Famous staircase - preferred photo background of the likes of H.M. Queen Elizabeth and consorts.
