Artist: Oskar Kokoschka at The Savoy
( words)
Austrian painter Oskar Kokoschka spent considerable time in London at The Savoy, where he created some of his most famous London works: ‘Here I am living on the 8th floor of the smartest hotel in Europe. I have to live this high up because from here I can paint the broadest vista of the Thames!’ he noted.
