Premier Palace Hotel, Ukraine's most luxurious hotel in the capital Kiev, gets the party rolling for its centenary. We are looking at three years of celebrations, commemorating the making of the first modern hotel in Kiev a hundred years ago. This serves as a tribute to a centenary of international hospitality in Ukraine and as a glowing testimonial of modern Ukrainian standards of tourism.
Premier Palace hired famoushotels.org to research and write its history. While the construction of the hotel started in 1909, it opened in 1912. We found enough historical details to fill three years of celebrations of Creating the Legend. On 14 May we present an exclusive print-run of 50 hand-leatherbound copies of our book in Russian. The cloth-bound books in English, Ukrainian and Russian will follow suit.
