Anton J. Piringer ~ Vice President, RockResorts Anton (Toni) Piringer is Vice President of Hospitality for RockResorts and the Vail Resorts Lodging Company.

In this position, Piringer is responsible for the operational supervision of a number of RockResorts in the mountain region, including The Lodge at Vail, Snake River Lodge & Spa, and The Pines Lodge. In addition, he also directs and manages numerous hotel and condominium products operated by the Vail Resorts Lodging Company. Under his supervision, two of these hotels were honored with Four Diamond Awards by AAA. Additionally, The Lodge at Vail was named "Hotel of the Year" in July 2003 by Preferred Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and followed that honor with the highest quality scores for 2004 among the 125 Preferred Hotels around the globe. Piringer joined Vail Resorts in September of 1998. Previously, Piringer was President of Adam's Mark Hotels for seven years, overseeing the expansion of the company from seven to 21 hotels. Before joining Adam's Mark, he served as Executive Vice President of Fairmont Hotels from 1987-1991. His experience in the hospitality industry includes international experience as a General Manager with Intercontinental Hotels, and The Houstonian Hotel and Club, as well as management posts at the Hotel Sacher in Vienna. His earliest years in the hospitality industry were with Sheraton and Hilton Hotels in which he held positions in cost control and food and beverage management. Piringer received his degree from the Hotel School in Vienna, Austria. Professionally, Piringer serves as a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Advisory Board and is a liaison for the U.S. Armed Forces with the successful operation of the Rocky Mountain Blue program in Keystone.
