Marylin Monroe at The Imperial, Tokyo

In 1954, Japanese had a chance to see Hollywood legend Marylin Monroe in Tokyo. She had arrived with her husband, baseball star Joe DiMaggio, on her honeymoon.

It was here that she made her today famous statement in a press conference. A Japanese reporter asked the bold question: "What do you wear in bed?"

 Marylin answered: "Chanel No. 5"
