One hundred thirty-four years later, it is still owned and operated by the Smiley family. What began as a small guest house evolved into a rambling assimilation of fanciful turreted and crenelated local stone and gabled-frame constructions, spanning the late Victorian Revival through the Arts and Crafts periods of American architectural design. Mohonk is surrounded by thousands of acres of wilderness, formal gardens, and hiking/walking trails with exquisite vistas and is a full-service resort, offering a wide array of recreational activities.o - 845.255.1000 · For Reservations - 800.772.
