Summer Reading

Summer Reading

( words)

Why do we travel? To get away or to get somewhere? I usually find time to read when I travel. Ironically I get away by travelling and get carried away by reading.
Book enthusiasts know it is always high season for books. Thousands of pages await you.

Pfyffer later remembered. ‘Our water system was the finest ever installed in the country since Deocletian’s Baths, planned by architect C.W. Stephens and installed by Jennings of London.  No one knew a thing about plumbing work in Italy. Running water was already considered a luxury, but running hot-water was virtually unknown and bathtubs an alien thing. All the plumbers had to come from England. They spent days explaining to their Italian workers what bathtubs were for.’ (From "Excelsior Rome")
