Reid’s Palace 2011 celebrations

Spring Flower Festival Ball - Saturday, May 7th, 2011
Celebrating spring and the flora wealth it brings us every year, The Flower Festival, one of the Islands’ most colourful celebrations, is more than just a tribute to the flowers of the Madeira Islands. It provides the opportunity to keep genuine Madeira traditions alive and transforms the city of Funchal, for a few days, into a magnificent stage for all kinds of artistic and cultural expression.
Along with the Flower Festival and celebrating 120 years of existence, Reid’s Palace will be holding a most traditional Spring Flower Ball, taking place on Saturday, May 7th.
We will start the evening with a Victorian cocktail in partnership with the Scottish brand, Hendricks Gin, who will propose some cocktails with flowers, in line with this special season for the island.
Creating a great opportunity to get together, we will be serving a 4 course menu, specially prepared for the occasion with selected wines included during the meal, in the restaurant “The Dining Room” accompanied by dancing musics performed by our “Rose Flower Band”, as well as the performance of one of the groups from the Flower Festival Parade, with their beautifully flower decorated dresses.
You can add up to your dress a flower or flower motif to enhance the spirit of Spring
Price: 79,00€ per person
Dress Code: Dinner Jacket or dark suit is welcome for gentlemen For further details and reservations, please contact us on 291 71 70 11 or by email to:
